When I first started this blog back in 2014, I had just resigned from working full time to be a stay at home mom. Originally, this blog was meant to capture my life in the moment: pursuing my dream of finishing my novel and being more present for my family.
But then it became so much more to me than that: Since then I’ve been dealing with all kinds of questions and problems.
Whether you are a mom dealing with some rowdy kids or an employee that has to deal with a mean boss, it’s so easy to get caught up in the negativity of our day or of those around us.
Home is location. It is who we are. It’s our authentic selves. It’s where we recharge, put down our guards and take off our masks.
Home is a state of mind: Being centered, peaceful, rested and the best version of yourself emotionally.
Stay at home started of as a job title and then it became my mantra. Regardless of what is happening or who I am around, I want to be the most authentic and peaceful version of myself I can possibly be.
